Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
6 c. crumbled cornbread
2 eggs, beaten
4 slices bread (about 2 1/2 c.)
1 tsp. dried sage
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Lightly grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Melt butter in skillet; saute celery and onion until tender, about 3 minutes.
In large mixing bowl, combine cornbread, toasted bread slices, cooked celery and onions, sage and black pepper. Stir broth and eggs into cornbread mixture; blend well.
Pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 10 servings.
