Chicken Casserole With Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 lb. chicken
    1/4 c. butter or olive oil
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    4 ripe medium tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. minestra (small pasta the size of rice)
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cut meat into serving pieces and put in casserole.
    Add butter,
    onion,
    peeled
    and
    diced tomatoes, salt and pepper. Mix well.
    Cover
    and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tender. Add 6 cups
    boiling
    water and minestra and stir well.
    Cover and continue
    baking
    for
    30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve at once with cheese.
    Time of preparation: 1 1/2 hours.
