Praline Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium sweet potatoes
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 (3 oz.) can pecans
    butter or margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    About an hour before serving:
    Peel sweet potatoes.
    Cut each potato crosswise into thirds.
    In an 8-quart saucepot, cover potatoes to boiling.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender.
    Drain; return to pot.
