Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 lb. stew meat, diced
    2 qt. water
    1 bay leaf
    any kind vegetables
    1 (No. 303) can stewed tomatoes (2 c.)
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato juice (3/4 c.)
    2 c. diced potatoes
    salt to taste
Preparation
    In a large pot combine onions, meat, vegetables, bay leaf and tomatoes.
    Cook two hours on medium heat.
    Add potatoes and salt. Cook until potatoes are soft.
    Makes about one gallon.
