Meringue Shells And Parfait Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites, beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries
    1 c. hot water
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 2/3 of the sugar until they hold their shape.
    Fold in rest.
    Shape into cup on heavy brown paper.
    Bake 1 hour at 275\u00b0 until dry, but not brown.
