Clams La Ray - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 hard shell clams (3 to 4-inches across)
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped fine
    1 stalk celery, chopped fine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. sweet onions, chopped fine
    1/4 to 1/2 c. unflavored bread crumbs
    1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Scrub and shuck the clams.
    Save the shells* and reserve the liquid. Chop the clams.
