Orange Pineapple Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large pkg. orange jello
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 tub Cool Whip
    1 qt. of buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans, optional
Preparation
    In large sauce pan, combine jello and pineapple, with juice. Heat to a low boil.
    Stir in Cool Whip, stirring constantly.
    When Cool Whip is dissolved, remove from heat, add pecans.
    Pour into 13 x 9 glass casserole or large jello mold.
    Refrigerate for 3 hours.
