Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. soda, dissolved in 3 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. brandy, wine or milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. dates
1 lb. cherries
1 tsp. nutmeg (sifted with flour)
1 1/2 c. white raisins
6 c. pecans
Preparation

Use 1
cup
of\tthe
flour for dredging fruit and nuts. Mix remaining
ingredients and drop on a greased cookie sheet. Bake about 15 minutes at 300\u00b0. Store for about 1 or 2 weeks.
