Apricot Jello Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 large can apricots (save 1 c. of juice)
    1 large pkg. orange Jell-O
    1 c. apricot juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
Preparation
    Use only 3 cups water in making the Jell-O.
