Ingredients

1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat
sour
cream, sugar and eggs.
Stir soda and cocoa in hot water; add to sour cream mixture.
Add vanilla.
Mix in flour
and salt.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans.
Bake at
350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Top with favorite chocolate icing.
