French Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, pared and thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 medium onions, sliced thin
    1 tsp. dried thyme
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Arrange half the potatoes in a buttered casserole dish.
    Dot with butter.
    Top with onions.
    Sprinkle with thyme, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Mix cream and cornstarch.
    Pour evenly over potatoes. Add half of the cheese.
    Add remaining potatoes.
    Sprinkle on remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until brown. Sprinkle with parsley.
