My Moms Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 small can condensed milk
    1 qt. milk
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a 4 quart pot, cover potatoes and onions with water; add salt. Bring to a boil; reduce to medium heat and cook until potatoes are well done. (Potatoes should be very soft and soupy.) Remove from heat. Mix the flour and water in a small bowl until smooth and add to potatoes to thicken the mixture. Return to medium heat and stir in margarine and canned milk; then add rest of milk. Stir frequently until soup almost boils. (Do not let it boil.) Remove from heat and add pepper to taste.
