John'S Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. can evaporated milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can pumpkin
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 to 1 c. butter
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients and stir until smooth.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle sifted cake mix over top. Slice butter over top of cake mix.
    Sprinkle nuts over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 50 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream or whipped topping.
