Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (1-inch) piece orange rind
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. cranberries
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda into bowl and set aside.
    Put egg, shortening, salt, orange rind, sugar and juice into blender.
    Cover and process until blended.
    Add nuts and cranberries and process only until chopped.
    Empty into flour mixture and mix only until blended.
    Spoon into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Yield: 1 loaf.
