Scalloped Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium size eggplant
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    thin slices cheese
Preparation
    Peel and dice eggplant.
    Cook in boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain well and set aside.
    Brown onion in 1 tablespoon butter.
    Add to eggplant.
    Melt 3 tablespoons butter and mix in cracker crumbs.
