Green Pineapple-Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lemon
    1 envelope gelatin
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    2 c. Longhorn cheese
    1/2 c. pecans
    green food color
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in cold water.
    Heat together pineapple, sugar and lemon.
    Mix pineapple and gelatin.
    Refrigerate until set or next day.
    Whip cream; add cheese, pecans and tint.
    Add pineapple mixture; put in pretty glass bowl or on bed of lettuce leaves. Good for holidays.
