Mixed Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cauliflowerets
    2 c. bite-size pieces broccoli flowerets and stems
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1/4 c. plain yogurt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 medium carrot, thinly sliced (about 3/4 c.)
    2 c. cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
Preparation
    Heat 1-inch salted water (1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling.
    Add cauliflowerets and broccoli.
    Cover and heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Rinse under running cold water; drain.
    Rinse peas under running cold water to separate; drain.
