Easy Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. regular rice (uncooked)
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    2 3/4 c. water
    2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces (breasts or mixed)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter, cut in 1/8-inch slices
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle rice in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Combine soup and water.
    Pour over rice.
    Place chicken pieces, skin side up, on rice.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place butter pieces on each piece of chicken.
    Bake for 1 hour. Yields 6 servings.
