Mom'S Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cream or milk
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. cocoa
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 jar marshmallow cream
Preparation
    Mix cream or milk, sugar, shortening, eggs, and salt.
    Next, beat in flour, cocoa, vanilla, and nuts.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Spread marshmallow cream evenly over top and bake another 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven and let cool.
