Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pt. green beans
    1/2 stick butter
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can mushrooms
    1 jar pimentos
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 jars Old English cheese
    1 c. Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Cook green beans until tender.
    In skillet, melt butter and place sliced onion rings in melted butter.
    Cook until tender, but not brown.
    Add mushrooms and pimentos.
    Simmer for 10 minutes. Add cream of mushroom soup and Old English cheese; mix well.
    Add drained green beans; mix together well.
    Put in casserole (9 x 3-inch baking dish).
    Sprinkle cracker crumbs over the top.
    Slice butter and put on top of crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
