Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. hamburger
    3 slices white bread
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 green pepper, chopped
    6 slices uncooked bacon
    ketchup
Preparation
    Beat egg into milk.
    Break up bread into small pieces and soak in the milk mixture.
    In a large bowl, salt and pepper the meat and add onion, tomato sauce, green pepper and milk mixture; mix well with your hands.
    Place mixture in a baking pan and form into a loaf.
    Spread ketchup over the loaf and arrange bacon slices over the loaf.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
