Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. crisp rice cereal
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    6 oz. butterscotch morsels
Preparation
    In a 5-quart saucepan, cook sugar and corn syrup together until mixture boils.
    Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Stir in crispy rice and press into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Let harden.
    Melt morsels over hot (not boiling) water.
    Spread over mixture and chill.
    Cut in squares.
    Yield: 40 (1-inch) squares.
