Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. white popped popcorn
    2/3 c. light or dark corn syrup
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix corn syrup, sugar and salt in heavy saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil, about 2 minutes.
    Gradually pour syrup over popcorn, stirring constantly, until evenly coated.
    Shape into balls, using as little pressure as possible (you may want to butter your hands). If popcorn mixture cools during shaping, place over low heat.
