Refrigerator Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 c. cold water
    1/4 c. shortening or oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten or Egg Beaters
    1 c. boiling water
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    3 to 4 c. white flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour cold water over yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar and let stand to soften.
    Combine shortening/oil and sugar; add eggs. Beat well and add boiling water and 2 cups whole wheat flour.
    Add yeast, making sure boiling water mixture has cooled down sufficiently.
    Mix and add remainder of flour and salt gradually. Cover and refrigerate.
    When ready to use, punch down dough; knead lightly.
    Shape into balls and place in lightly greased pan. Let rise until double in size.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 18 to 22 minutes.
    Yield:
    3 dozen.
