Ingredients

3 c ripe figs, mashed or cut up
3 c sugar
2 (3 oz) or 1 (6 oz) strawberry Jello
Preparation

Put together in large, heavy pot and cook over medium heat for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Pour into sterilized jars.
Run a knife around inside of jar to get any air bubbles out.
Wipe tops of jars off and seal immediately.
You may use other flavors of jello:
apricot, raspberry or cherry.
