Linguini With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans chopped clams (save sauce)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. linguini
    1 c. light cream
    10 oz. fresh mushrooms
    5 cloves crushed garlic
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 (16 oz.) can black olives, sliced (optional)
Preparation
    Slice mushrooms and fry in olive oil with garlic.
    Add clams with sauce and olives.
    Cover; simmer for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add cream; simmer until it thickens slightly.
    Cook linguini according to package directions.
    Serve clam sauce over hot linguini.
