Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in one bowl.
    Before baking, mix some sugar and cinnamon together.
    Roll the cookie dough into small balls and roll in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or a little longer if needed.
    The top should be a little puffy, but not hard.
