Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 pt. Cool Whip
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve Knox gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water.
    Put crushed pineapple and sugar in double boiler and heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Mix gelatine with pineapple and sugar and let set until thick.
    Mix grated cheese, nuts and Cool Whip; mix this with thickened gelatine and pineapple.
    Let chill overnight.
