Ingredients

2 qt. persimmon
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation

Seed persimmons by pressing through a sieve with the water. Add sugar to persimmon pulp, then beaten eggs.
Stir soda into buttermilk and add alternately with the sifted dry ingredients. Lastly, stir in butter.
Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
