Ingredients

1 c. oleo, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix sugar and oleo until creamy.
Add buttermilk and eggs.
Beat thoroughly.
Add soda, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Add vanilla.
Add flour to make a stiff dough.
