Pork Chop Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (1-inch thick)
    1 tsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 c. water
    1 c. rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown chops in oil over medium heat.
    Remove chops; saute onions and green peppers in oil.
    Stir in tomatoes, water, seasonings, rice and 1 cup cheese.
    Add chops; cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Top with remaining cheese; cook until cheese melts.
