Watergate Salad(This Is For A Large Size Salad.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) containers Cool Whip
    2 (4 oz.) pkg. dry instant pistachio pudding
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. coconut
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Preparation
    Fold pudding into Cool Whip until well blended.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Chill for at least 2 or 3 hours (can also sit overnight).
    Just before serving, add 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries.
