Tomato-Lentil Soup(For Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. instant minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 c. dried lentils, washed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    6 c. water, divided
    2 tsp. instant beef flavored bouillon
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Combine onion, garlic and water in a 3-quart casserole.
    Cook, covered, on Full power for 2 to 4 minutes, or until onion is tender.
    Add lentils, salt, pepper and 4 cups water.
    Cook, covered, on Full power for 20 to 30 minutes, or until lentils are tender.
    Stir halfway through cooking time.
