California Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

32 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. chopped onions or 1 tsp. onion powder
1 c. sour cream
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or margarine, melted
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. crushed corn flake crumbs or bread crumbs
1/2 stick (1/4 c.) butter or margarine, melted
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Break potatoes into a large bowl.
Mix sour cream, salt, pepper, onions, cheese and soup together.
Mix with potatoes. Pour melted butter into the mixture and mix well.
Pour all into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Mix the crushed corn flake crumbs and the 1/2 stick of melted butter together and then spread on top of the potatoes.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly.
