Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. cornmeal
3/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 c. milk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add oil, egg and milk.
Pour batter into greased 8 or 9-inch pan.
Bake about 15 minutes at 475\u00b0.
