Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 Tbsp. reserved bacon grease
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 c. chopped fresh or frozen broccoli
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine bacon, grease and vegetables in 2 cups of water and cook until tender.
Mix milk and cornstarch, blend into soup and continue to cook until soup is thickened.
Serve nice and hot with bread or rolls.
