Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter (use 3 to cut into flour)
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. half and half
Preparation
    Blend flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in 3 tablespoons butter until fine particles.
    Beat egg and add half and half and 2 tablespoons softened butter.
    Toss with fork, knead very gently on floured surface.
    Roll 1/4-inch thick, cut and spread with softened butter. Top with remaining rounds.
    Sprinkle top with sugar.
    Bake 14 minutes at 400\u00b0.
