Standing Prime Rib - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Adolph's meat marinade (original flavor)
    1 (3 to 5 lb.) standing rib roast (bones intact)
Preparation
    Place roast in shallow cake pan.
    Mix marinade according to directions on back.
    Pour over roast and marinate 30 to 45 minutes, turning and covering a few times.
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Place roast in shallow open pan, rib bones down.
    Do not add water. Roast meat, using a thermometer for internal temperature:
    rare 140\u00b0, medium 160\u00b0, well 170\u00b0.
    The ideal temperature is 155\u00b0 (about 35 minutes per pound).
    Remove from the oven and let stand 15 minutes before carving.
    Carve top down to bone and then release along bone.
    Can use drippings for gravy.
    Baste often with remaining marinade.
