Blackberry Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. blackberries
    3 c. water
    sugar
Preparation
    Wash blackberries. Add water and bring to boiling point.
    Cook until berries are soft.
    Remove from heat and strain through cloth bag.
    Measure liquid and bring to a boil.
    Add gradually the same amount of sugar as liquid. Cook rapidly until jelly begins to thicken.
    Pour into glasses.
    When cool, cover with paraffin wax.
