Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
2 medium onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. red wine or water
2 green peppers, sliced
1/2 c. sliced ripe olives (optional)
Preparation

Cut meat in serving pieces.
Combine flour, salt and pepper; pound into meat.
Brown in hot oil.
Add tomatoes, onions, garlic and wine.
Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Add peppers and olives; cook 15 minutes, or until peppers are tender.
Serve with rice. Serves 6.
