Oatmeal Raisin Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. solid vegetable shortening
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. old fashioned oats
    2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
    Beat shortening, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture and rolled oats.
    Stir in raisins.
    Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool cookies on sheet for 2 minutes.
    Makes approximately 7 1/2 dozen.
