Escalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. melted butter or less
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. sour cream or less
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed and mixed with 1/4 c. of the melted butter
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes.
    Combine them with the rest of the ingredients except corn flake mixture.
    Place in 3-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle buttered corn flakes on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 10 to 12.
