Adobo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    meat
    6 garlic cloves
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. shoyu
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    peppercorns
    salt
    pepper
    bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown meat in garlic and onion until the moisture disappears. Pour in mixture of vinegar, shoyu, sugar and spices.
    Simmer about 10 minutes before turning meat.
    Turn meat and cook on slow heat for a couple hours.
