Surprise Meringues - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate pieces
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat together egg whites, salt, cream of tartar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition until peaks become stiff.
Fold in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop from teaspoons on piece of brown paper placed on cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
