Hungarian Or Banana Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    peppers
    2 gal. water
    3 c. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 clove garlic
    1 grape leaf
    1 bunch dill
Preparation
    Thoroughly wash peppers.
    Cut in small slices (circles).
    Put peppers in a brine made of 1 gallon water to 2 cups of salt. Weight to hold peppers under brine.
    Next day, drain well and pack peppers into sterilized jars.
    Make a pickling solution of 1 gallon water, 1 cup salt, 1 cup vinegar, 1 clove garlic, 1 grape leaf and dill bunch.
    Bring to boil.
    Pour over peppers to within 1/2-inch of top.
    Put on cap.
    Screw band firmly tight.
    Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.
