Granny Thrift'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour (Swans Down)
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and Crisco, then add sugar and beat until well blended.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    After this is creamed, add 1/2 of the milk and beat well.
    Then add the vanilla, half of the flour and the baking powder.
    Beat well.
    Then add the rest of the milk.
    Beat well and then add the remaining flour and beat until it is well blended.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
    You should let all of your ingredients get to room temperature for best results.
