Chad'S Favorite Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. shortening
    6 eggs
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Sift together cake flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cream sugar, shortening and butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time, blending after each egg.
    Alternately mix flour and milk to creamed mixture.
    Add lemon and vanilla flavorings.
    Mix well.
    Put in cold oven and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
