Cinnamon Raisin Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
1 c. warm milk (105~ to 115~)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 1/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. raisins
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl. Add milk, butter, 2 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Stir with wooden spoon until smooth. Add remaining 1 cup flour and raisins. Stir vigorously 30 strokes or until the flour is mixed in. Batter will be stiff and sticky. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled (10 to 15 minutes). Place batter in well-greased loaf pan. Spread evenly. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and cool on rack. Makes 1 loaf.
