Summer Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 small yellow squash
    1 medium onion
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 c. crushed saltines
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender.
    Mash. Add egg and mayonnaise.
    Pour into a greased casserole. Cover with saltines and cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly brown.
