Raisin Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a saucepan, heat raisins and water to just boiling.
    Cool. Mix egg, sugar and vanilla.
    Add to raisins.
    Add flour and dry ingredients.
    Beat well.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Pour into a loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
